For every couple, the most precious gift of life is their own child, but when some couples don’t receive it, all their dreams get shattered and life becomes clouded with despair. Infertility – childlessness – is an extremely disheartening and frightening experience. Especially for women, the questions raised by relatives at social and family gatherings become deeply distressing. And that is where a journey of anguish begins…
How to Face This Infertility?
There is no need to be discouraged in this situation; what is needed is to develop an understanding of the condition from a medical and scientific perspective, moving away from blind faith and superstition, and patiently working towards a solution after learning the causes through scientific investigations.
What Do We Call Infertility?
If a couple does not conceive even after one year of regular intercourse without using any form of contraceptive device or pill, this inability to reproduce is known as infertility.
According to a World Health Organization (WHO) survey, 15 to 20% of all couples worldwide face infertility – meaning that 100 to 120 million couples across the world are infertile.
The Causes of Infertility –
A combined deficiency in either the wife or husband, or both, can be responsible for the condition of infertility. These causes can include age, lifestyle, structural/anatomical defects, hormonal irregularities, lack of sexual knowledge, lack of understanding between husband and wife, as well as daiv (unknown/fate) – any of these can be responsible. Of the causes of infertility, 25% are attributable to the male, 58% to the female, while in 17% of cases no cause can be identified at all, which can only be attributed to the will of God.
Male Factors –
The main causes of male infertility include a low sperm count in the semen, a low percentage of motility (low vitality), pus in the semen, thin/watery semen; besides these semen-related causes, weakness of sexual power, weak erection, premature ejaculation right at the start of intercourse, and blockage or obstruction in the ducts that carry semen out (varicocele) can also be responsible.
Female Factors
– Irregular periods, or scanty or heavy periods, due to ovarian defects, which prevent the timely release of the egg and make conception impossible.
– A defect in the fallopian tube that prevents the egg from reaching the uterus.
– Repeated abortions/miscarriages.
– Various types of vaginal infections causing ulcers or swelling on the inner vaginal wall or the mouth of the uterus.
– Excessive heat (acidity) in the vagina, which prevents the sperm cells present in the semen from surviving.
– Excess weight, due to fat accumulating on the uterine wall and ovaries, which can also prevent conception.
– A prolonged illness and the resulting weakness, along with continuous leucorrhoea (vaginal discharge), can also cause this problem.
Combined Causes in Both –
– Little or incorrect sexual knowledge.
– Irregular and improper method of intercourse.
– Lack of emotional harmony between husband and wife.
Any single one of all these causes, along with many unknown causes, can be responsible.
Is Treatment for Infertility Possible?
At ‘Atharva Ayurveda Clinic’, after examining the couple, we identify the responsible causes of infertility, and after determining the causes with the help of modern diagnostic tools wherever necessary, treatment through a definite method is possible.
Treatment for Male Infertility –
For male causes, Ayurveda offers excellent treatment for the deficiency of sperm count in semen, which can largely eliminate male-factor causes to a great extent, and we have been experiencing hundreds of such successful cases since the year 2000. Other causes of male infertility, such as premature ejaculation and lack of arousal or libido (impotence), are properly investigated as sexual disorders and treated here with pure Ayurvedic treatment, offering a permanent solution to these and other sexual concerns, thereby helping to avoid infertility. Since the Ayurvedic medicines given here are completely free of side effects, there is no possibility of any other trouble or of developing a dependency on them.
Treatment for Female Infertility –
For female causes, the allopathic medicines given to balance hormonal deficiencies related to ovarian defects do help restore ovarian health, but they also cause harm and side effects to the body – this is their weak and true side. Their side effects can include excessive bleeding, nausea, breast tenderness, pain, water retention in the body, weight gain, anxiety, tension, headaches, and more. However, treatment with Ayurvedic medicines made from herbs can resolve this deficiency in women without side effects, freeing them from the condition of infertility. Vaginal infections and excessive leucorrhoea (discharge), as well as excessive heat (acidity) in the vagina, can be resolved through Ayurvedic medicines and, when necessary, Panchakarma treatment, making conception easier. In the case of blocked fallopian tubes, modern science has no treatment available; however, in Ayurveda’s Panchakarma, through Uttarabasti Karma (in which medicine is introduced into the uterus via the vaginal passage), the fallopian tube opens up and conception becomes possible.
Solution for Combined Causes –
In cases where conception does not occur due to intercourse not happening at the correct time, because of insufficient or incorrect sexual knowledge and sexual confusion, proper guidance is provided at Atharva Ayurveda Clinic. Sexual knowledge can be gained without any hesitation through the ADULT SEX EDUCATION offered here.
ADULT SEX EDUCATION –
Kamashastra (the science of sex) is a science, and it is connected to physical and mental health. Moreover, a relationship between husband and wife is also essential for reproduction, but it has its own definite methods and systems. If the science of sex is understood correctly, then in problems like infertility, when all reports are normal and no other cause is found, a proper analysis in this direction can certainly reveal some way forward. Just as we keep acquiring knowledge about various aspects of life, it is equally necessary for every individual to study sexual knowledge (Sex) – which is why it is also included among our Indian 64 arts. Atharva Ayurveda Clinic has organised a special course on the science of sex, in which, besides the topics listed below, all your doubts are resolved through knowledge sessions and Q&A on many other topics, including:
– The function and structure of the sexual organs
– The process of conception
– Understanding the causes of infertility
– A detailed look at sexual problems in both men and women
– Guidance, demonstration and clearing of doubts through the study of various aspects of Kamasutra, to make married life more joyful, and more.
IVF or Test Tube Baby –
These days, treatment for overcoming infertility through IVF or test tube baby procedures is very popular everywhere, and because of it, many childless couples have been blessed with children, which has made this method of treatment even more popular; but the economics behind it is also a major reason for its growing popularity. However, when IVF fails, it is Ayurveda alone that comes through as a true blessing. Ayurveda has its own distinct philosophy and diagnostic approach to embryology (Garbhavigyan). Rather than relying solely on reports, it takes into account the balance of the Vata-Pitta-Kapha doshas in the reproductive organs of both husband and wife, the balance of all three doshas during the time of intercourse for conception, diet, lifestyle, mental unity, and many other factors – none of which can be measured by any laboratory report. This is why, even after modern science has failed, Ayurveda takes one step further, and through successful treatment in many such cases, numerous childless couples have today received the blessing of children through the sages of Ayurveda. You too are most welcome to visit our clinic even once to receive guidance and advice for your problem. A single visit to us before undergoing IVF will prove to be a blessing for you. Along with having a child, guidance, advice and treatment are also available for Garbha Sanskar, Shodash Sanskar, Punsavan Sanskar, and Suvarnaprashan Sanskar, for the attainment of a divine child and a child as per one’s wishes.
