Worms (stomach worms) are a problem that looks small but can seriously affect the body. Many people ignore it as something ordinary, but worms eat up the nutrients in the body and weaken it from inside.
This problem is seen more in children, because they play in dirt, put their hands in the mouth and eat a lot of sweets or junk food. According to Ayurveda, krimi roga is related to indigestion (ajirna), Kapha and ama.
If proper treatment is not given in time, it can lead to many problems such as skin diseases, hair fall, indigestion and anaemia. Let us understand krimi roga completely.

🧠 Ayurvedic Understanding
In Ayurveda this disease is known as krimi vyadhi. When food is not digested properly, ama is formed, and this ama becomes a nourishing medium for worms. Kapha and ama together, in particular, produce worms in the intestines.
Types of krimi:
- Purishaja krimi (intestinal worms)
- Raktaja krimi (blood-borne)
- Kesha krimi (affecting hair and scalp)
So in Ayurveda the treatment is not only to kill the worms but to remove the root cause.
